My story
I know burnout from the inside. For at least three years, I was burned out. My body and mind were exhausted, and I'd lost the routines that used to keep me well, including moving my body, which I'd always loved. Then someone asked me, "Can you heal where you are?" It was the first time I realized I needed to heal, not just push through. That one question started it. The work that followed was my own. It carried me through a career change, and it's at the heart of how I coach today.

My background
I started my career in cardiac rehabilitation, where I learned that knowledge alone doesn't create change. Mindset and identity do. Six years in, I found evidence-based health coaching, and it changed how I worked. For the next 13 years, I held two roles at once: leading worksite wellness programs for companies, and coaching their employees one-on-one. Along the way, I've facilitated thousands of coaching sessions with clients.

Those years showed me workplace burnout from both sides: the programs companies offer, and the people who need more than a program can give. In 2025, I founded Priority Self to offer that something more: coaching that meets you where you are, without waiting for the work to change.

How I coach
Coaching isn't a quick fix or an expert telling you what to do. I don't position myself as the expert on your life. That's your role. My job is to help you think clearly, trust your decisions and take steps that fit your real life.

I take a whole-person approach. Work, relationships, health, purpose and rest get planned together, and we start with what's already strong in you: your values and character strengths. It's grounded in behavior change science and positive psychology.

What I bring to our work together

  • Coaching that starts with you. As a board-certified health and wellness coach, I help you get clear on what matters, use your strengths and choose your direction, with steps that fit your real life.

  • Movement, when it fits. As an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist, I can help you build movement into your rhythm, sized to your real week.

  • Rest you can come back to. I guide Yoga Nidra, a deep-rest practice that fits even your busiest days.

Who I help

You might be:

  • Someone who has looked up and realized the path is overgrown

  • A healthcare professional who has spent years caring for others and is ready to choose a new direction

  • In work that isn't going to change, and wanting the years ahead to be better

  • The one everyone counts on, whose own health keeps moving to the bottom of the list

  • A business owner known only for your role, ready to be more than your title

  • Standing at a crossroads, waiting for an easier door to appear

30 minutes, virtually. We'll talk about where you are, what you want the years ahead to look like, and whether 1:1 coaching is the right fit.

PRIORITY SELF COACHING IS THE CLEARING.

“Life is a path through a forest, and paths need occasional tending. Left alone, the overgrowth takes over, and one day you look up and realize you've lost the path. The clearing isn't a rescue. It's a place to reorient. The Priority Path is the new path you create from there.”

Not a place to be rescued, but a place to reorient, reclaim your direction, and create a new, clearer path for yourself.
